Admission is not a permit
You need an offer from a designated learning institution. That letter is the start of a permit file, not the end. Programme choice has to match your transcript. A science bachelor’s followed by a one-year marketing diploma is a question IRCC already knows.
Provincial attestation (PAL or the current equivalent named by IRCC and the province) has been part of the landscape for many applicants. The exact letter and exemption list move. Funds, language, letter of explanation
Proof of funds should be sourced. A salary trail, a legitimate scholarship, or a sponsor with a relationship you can document will always beat a sudden balance. Colleges versus universities
Admission to some public colleges is faster. The permit is not automatically friendlier. Officers look at the school, the programme, and whether the plan is study. Work rumours
Student work rights depend on current IRCC rules and the conditions on your permit. We will not sell a course as a job. Post-graduation work is a later, separate decision by Canada. Building a master’s file on a rumour about a three-year work permit is how disappointment is scheduled.
Timeline
Intakes cluster around September and January. Permit processing times move. An admission in August for a September start is a panic, not a plan. How it works is the engagement sequence. Fees are $1,000 to begin and $2,500 after visa or permit approval.
